Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 July 2026

  1. UK VAT: For consignments of £135 or less sold directly to UK consumers, you must be registered for UK VAT and charge it at checkout (goods outside the UK at point of sale). Confirm your registration and setup with an accountant. Once registered, show your GB VAT number in the block below.
  2. Prices: Display VAT-inclusive prices — the price shown must be the final price the customer pays, with no import charges on delivery.
  3. Returns: Provide a workable UK return process (see the separate Returns & Refunds Policy). Do not require customers to post items back to China at their own cost as the only option.
  4. Website URL: Set the URL below to the domain customers actually check out on (amellya.com or musemaison.co.uk). This is general information, not legal or tax advice.

1. Purpose and Scope

These Terms of Sale and Website Use ("Terms") govern the use of the website https://amellya.com/ (the "Site"), operated by Amellya.

By accessing the Site or purchasing products through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. They apply to all users of the Site, including visitors, customers and contributors of content. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use this Site.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By using this Site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or have permission from a parent or guardian) and that you agree to comply with these Terms. We may update these Terms at any time; changes take effect once published on this page, with the revision date updated.

4. Access and Use of the Website

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive and revocable licence to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

  • reproduce or exploit any part of the Site without permission;
  • use the Site for unlawful purposes;
  • transmit viruses or malicious software;
  • attempt to bypass the Site's security systems.

Any violation may result in suspension or termination of access.

5. User Accounts

When creating an account or placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, keep your account credentials confidential, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

6. Products and Availability

Some products may be available exclusively online. We make every effort to display product colours and descriptions accurately, though we cannot guarantee your screen shows colours exactly as they appear in reality. We reserve the right to limit sales to certain regions, and to modify, discontinue or limit the quantities of any product.

7. Prices

All prices are displayed in GBP (£) and are inclusive of UK VAT where applicable. The price shown at checkout is the final price you pay — there are no additional import duties, customs charges or taxes payable on delivery for orders shipped to the United Kingdom.

Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect orders we have already accepted. If we discover a genuine pricing error after you order, we will contact you before dispatch and give you the choice to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

8. Promotions and Reference Prices

Any sale price, discount or "was/now" comparison reflects a genuine previous selling price. We do not display invented or misleading reference prices, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

9. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order you will receive a confirmation email acknowledging receipt. This acknowledgement is notacceptance — a binding contract is formed only when we dispatch the goods. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock or a pricing error occurred), in which case you will receive a full refund. Orders may be limited per person, per address or per payment method.

10. Payment

Payments are processed through secure, third-party payment providers over an encrypted connection. We do not store complete payment card details.

11. Delivery

Delivery times are estimates. Full details are set out in our separate Shipping & Delivery Policy. We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services or by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, but if your order is significantly delayed, contact us at support@amellya.com and we will help resolve it.

12. Right to Cancel, Returns and Refunds

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods. We voluntarily extend this to a 30-day return window.

To return an item, email support@amellya.com with your order number and we will provide the return address and instructions. Items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging.

  • For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of return postage.
  • For faulty, damaged or incorrect items, we cover the return cost and offer a free replacement or full refund.

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item (or of your cancellation notice). Full details are in our separate Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

13. Faulty Goods — Your Statutory Rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If an item is faulty you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

14. Customer Reviews

Any reviews displayed on the Site are from genuine customers. We do not publish fake or incentivised reviews, in line with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024.

15. Limitation of Liability

We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without limiting your statutory rights, Amellya is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where it cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

16. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site (text, images, logos, design elements, etc.) is the property of Amellya or its partners. Any reproduction or use without permission is prohibited.

17. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

18. Comments and Suggestions

Any suggestion, idea or feedback you submit to Amellya may be used freely by us without compensation or obligation.

19. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Site if these Terms are violated.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

21. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your home nation.
